Beautiful day here

Beautiful day here with temps in the 80's & sunny. Got alot of yard work done this week & working on the garden. Getting it all ready to plant, & planted flowers in the yard .I love watching the earth come back to life. The Lord has created so many beautiful things for all of us to see.

I had a very nice birthday yesterday. Went to breakfast with hubby, & my Aunt, then we had a quiet day at home.
On Tuesday we are going to the Seneca Niagara Casino for the night since we are getting the room for free.We are going with my sister & her hubby which should really be alot of fun, We have been to the casino before but never the hotel.So it should be different.

I finally was able to get to post the picture of my 2 girls, who are the center of my life even though I don't get to see them that often, they call me all the time to keep me updated.For Easter we were all together & they were like little kids with there baskets.
I am hoping I'll be able to see them this week for my birthday, but it's so hard with my oldest going to school & the youngest has to work everyday.

My sister made it to the world games in 2009.

This is a photo of my sister who won a gold in the states games for the special olympics, she is now going to the World games in Boise, Idaho, in Feb. 2009. We are all so excited for her, she has over come some many things in her life.She is doing figure skating & from her I learned alot. You can do whatever you want with hard work & if your heart is in it. She is a great person & my one reason to keep going & keep fighting.

It's been a really crazy week here, so I haven't done my blogg. We have a winter wonderland here, we got snow over night. Looks so beautiful out side with it being on the tree branches, & the ground all covered in white.

I had to go to the doctors for a bone marrow test this week since my white cell count was elevated when they did my blood test. I go every other day for blood work to watch my white cells, until I get the results back. When I went yesterday for blood test they said they are up but no blast. Hopefully I am fighting an infection & not my Leukemia coming back.

We are planning on going to Maple syrup week-end @ my sisters farm. That will help get my mind off of things.

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. I cooked for my family,my girls, there B/F's, D/H's brother, his daughter & her family.I had company here until after 9:00 last night, I was so tired out but everyone had a great time.
I made the Easter Basket cupcakes, Birds nest cheesecakes, & they went so quick I don't have any left for us here but that's ok.

Sorry it's after midnight but we had a great day. I cooked dinner for everyone & we had a Easter egg hunt for our niece here in the house.

Today is Good Friday!

Today is Good Friday the day our Lord Jesus Christ gave up his life for all of us here on earth. As they beat him & made him suffer for the sins of all of us , he asked the fathers forgiveness for those who tourtured him. Let us remember what the true meaning of this day is all about as we reflect on Jesus hanging on that cross to forgive us of our sins.

ISAIAH 53:07

I decided not to post what the reading was for anyone interested can look it up. It has to deal with what CC is dealing with, how even when the Lord was suffering he never spoke a word. We have seal our lips. & let the Lord handle it. I know first hand how people gotten to me & I have voiced what I felt is right only to find out others don't agree .
Since that has happened found it is better to keep my mouth shut.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served; but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."


To me this is a scripture that shows us all the Jesus was here to be with us as an equal. I would like to say that I am the way the Lord wants us all to be, yet being human I am not. I will do for others as much as I can , to me that is what makes me happy. I love to help people who don't expect it, like making the baskets for all the families who will be here for Easter, giving to the womans shelter, & making sure noone is alone for the holiday.

To me what this is saying is we have to live our live in the truth.If we are to afraid to tell our loved ones the truth then it's not the true love that the Lord has planned for us.Love from the Lord you never have to worry about talking to the ones you love. Love if it true can give you the answer. They will be there & support you for everything you go throught.

Beautiful sunny day again, love days like this makes you realize spring will soon be here.
We went today to get the stuff so we can make up the Easter baskets for everyone, we had so much fun picking up everything & planning how we are going to set them all up.We have 8 baskets to make up so that will be fun for us to do.
Hopefully the weather will be nice so we can get the front porch cleaned up too & put all the baskets in there.

I received a picture from my Aunt today of my cousin who passed away 2 months ago.Looking at this picture I can see the feeding tube in his stomach (he tried to cover it with a T- shirt),& the I V's in his arm. I look at this picture & it's tearing me apart to see how he suffered the last days, that he couldn't even fake a smile.He was only 2 years older then me & that scares me too. I know there is a reason why the Lord took him, that we should never question why, yet it really hurts. I miss him so much we did everything together growing up, I can't believe he is gone for good.

I'll never hear his jokes again, hear his laughter, have his big arms give me that big bear hug, or smell his ucky cigars.God bless you Clark, & I'll always love you.

A Special Blessing From the Lord

We all received a special blessing this week-end, D/H's nephew's & his girlfriend gave birth to a 6 lb. baby girl, her name is Makaylee Rose, she was born Saturday at 1:15 pm. This is there first child & they are so young, but she is truely a blessing. They say she looks just like her dad.
They have been having a hard time since she was so uncomfortable with all the weight she's gained. We knew the baby would be here before her due date, she was carrying her so low for the past month. Her due date was Easter Sunday, she really surprised everyone when her water broke @ 3:00 Saturday morning.

Wow here we go again another round of snow storms, we knew it was coming so we did our daily walk early today . Looks so pretty outside like Christmas out doors. Makes it easier to deal with knowing it is the wonders of God.
Had my Aunt was here last night, she is dealing with her loss of her son, by staying busy yet she gets so tired out . So I made her go to sleep & I made her dinner before she had to go to work last night. I feel so bad for her she is so angree with God for the death of her son.I know the Lord took him because he wanted him up there in heaven.

I can't believe what a difference a day can make, sunshining out side again & it's melting all the ice & snow again which is great. D/H & I were suppose to have date night tonight but we have company here, so we are going to have it tomorrow night instead. We will have a nice candle light dinner, then we always watch" weakest link" & we will play the game LIFE after that is over. I really love the date night idea it helps us reconnect & that is what we need now with all the stress we have had.

At my wits end . doctors & hospital calling wanting there money. I don't have $45,000.00 in my back pocket to cover the bills.We are suppose to get a charity to help us since hubby has no medical coverage at his job, but so far no coverage & they are calling all the time wanting there money. This is our new debt limit , which we will never get out of.I can't handle all this stress anymore, we are fighting all the time & I am ready to leave. I am calling everyone yet I can't pull money out my butt.
To be honest I am tired & need my time without someone being underfoot all the time . Never lived this way, I always had my space & he had his. No more ! Here 24/7 I love him but I can't cry alone to get out what I feel.

Winter Ice storm here .

Started as rain, now we have sleet, freezing rain & ice. Roads a total mess yet we are safe & sound. Knew it was coming so have batteries for flash lites, cell phones charged, generator ready, & comfort food ready. Have a gas stove so can still cook if power goes out, a different day after temps in the 60's yesterday when we could walk without a heavy jacket. I am so ready for spring yet expecting an ne storm Friday, boy it better come soon.

Beautiful day here sunshine & warm in the 60's. Had a great day with hubby so really made my day. It was so great being able to spend time outside. We are expecting a ice storm tomorrow so we will see what happens.

Went to mom's & got everything ready for her new washer & dryer to be delivered.We had to move everything out & move it all down stairs. It was so nice being able to spend time with her, brought her some meatballs & sausage I made the other day.
I am going to be having D/H's brother staying with us starting Thrusday, he is having surgery on his leg for a cancerous cycts they found & he lives alone so we thought it be better if he stayed with us a few days to make sure he's ok after the surgery.That should be interesting 2 sick men here, but I know hubby would be worried about him being alone.

Getting ready for Easter as we celebrate the Lords rising, we will be setting everything up for our celebration at our church & the baskets I'll send over to the woman's shelter here. I will make a bunch of baskets for the kids that are there with there mom's, plus I get a big box, wrap it in spring wrapping paper & fill it with stuff for the woman at the shelter too. I know when I was there it ment alot to me when others helped so I try to do as much as I can to make sure they have what they need.
The Lord blessed me with a great hubby after going through what I did, so I have to give back & it really makes me feel good to give back. These woman are trying to start over after being abused, so I am glad I can do a little something.

Happy Leap year Day Everyone. Hope everyone is having a great day today. We had a cold start to the day today, when I got up @6:30 the temp was -4 out there, but now we have bright sunshine as we get ready for another round of snow tonight.

We are having a really great day hubby is finally starting to feel better & I got a call from my best friend that I have known since we were in 3rd grade. She is going to be coming to visit me durning Easter, so I am all excited about that. I can't wait to see her it's been over a year since we've been able to get together. While she is here we plan on a day trip to the casino, she has never been & wants to go so bad, so we'll take a ride there.

When I was in the hospital she came & stayed with me for the first month, she was by my bed side everyday. Then when I got out after the 18 months of chemo she came & helped me get settled. I am so looking forward to seeing her, now I really want Easter to come soon.

What a beautiful day today was, it was cold but the sun was shinning all day long so that great. With all the snow & the sun it looked like a painting outside. I love days like this as you can see all the wonders of Gods creations, it really makes me feel at peace inside . The days are getting closer to when spring will be here & the ground with come alive with new life as everything begins to grow again.

I look forward to being able to plant my vegetable garden & plant all my flowers around the house. I love spending the day outside working in the garden, this year I'll plant: tomatoes, corn, squash, pumpkins, & I planted garlic this fall so hopefully that will come up to.

For my flower garden I have 3 rose bushes( yellow, pink, & red),in the front I plant all wild flowers, I have a bleeding heart plant on the side of the house, & this year I will plant carnations. I have a little well that I plant flowers in the bucket. They are building a deck off my side door so I'll put flower boxes on the deck & fill them with annuals.

We had a good day today at the doctors. Bob needed more tests since his blood is still low but we love the doctor. He is doing good yet his wound isn't healed yet, so he still has to watch it, which he hates.
He has another month home which is driving me crazy . I love him but I have no down time to myself. Even when I am on here he is asking me for something or looking over my shoulder. I know he can do thinks he does them before I get up , but once I'm up it's totally different. He wants to get back to work so bad he's angree all the time & I'm taking it all in.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow !!!!!!!!!!

Well here we go again, another winter storm here. So far it started @ 7:00 this morning & hasn't stopped. I don't mind the snow all that much , it's the cold temps & the wind. So far it has been in the 30's but is suppose to fall into the single digits, then the wind will pick up, but that's winter in good old Rochester, NY.
Made out good at the doctors he had to change the medician for my bones since the other one was making me really sick. Have to go back in another 3 months, so that was good.
Did all the rest of my curtains today so that job is all done. Sent out the invites for Easter dinner, & planned out the whole menu. Now I am working on my meal plan for March, & getting my to do list done.

Today was such another beautiful day, so we went for a nice long walk. The sun was shining & it felt so good to be able to walk around. We finally dropped off our taxes to get them done & I got more window clings for Easter. Got all the windows washed so I could put them up, which the sun shines through most of the day so it makes the house nice & warm.
My niece is doing ok, just really sore still & is getting more black & blue. She saids everyone looks at her like she's a freak, but she keeps on going. She said make-up isn't working , so she doesn't even bother with it.

What a beautiful day today !

What a beautiful day today was, we were able to get out for a little while. We went to the store so hubby could walk around a little bit. While there hubby surprised me with a new microwave, he said it was for me helping him get through all this he has been dealing with.I thought that was so sweet of him. Then we grapped a little to eat before we headed home.
I heard from my sister also, she said my niece is doing ok but really sore. She has a bruised cheek, nose, forehead, & now both of her eyes are turning black & blue. So by the time she goes to school Monday she'll look like she got into a neck of a fight. She is laughting at her bruises, everytime she looks in the mirror, she tells her mom , hey mom & am going to need 10 bottles of make-up for school. Everytime she gets a new bruise she adds another bottle of foundation, my sister saids it's funny & they both laugh.

NIECE GOT INTO CAR ACCIDENT TODAY !

My sister called me this morning on her way to Alfred College to let me know my niece was in a car accident on her way to school. A van going the other way crossed the yellow line , hit the SUV in front of her. The SUV spun around & hit my niece head on before it ended up in a tree. There were 5 ambulances there & they had to cut the girl out of the SUV, but they found out she is doing ok.
My niece has a lot of bruises on her face from the airbags & now she is complaining her ribs & upper body hurts, so my sister is taking her to the ER to get her all checked out.
We were so scared when we heard, but the Lord was watching out for her. The other people all have broken bones, the driver of the SUV has broken leg & arm, the woman in the van that caused the accident has a broken arm.
Thank God everyone is alive.

Huddy still fighting a bad cold

Hubby is still fighting a bad cold here. It is getting really deep into his chest, we called the doctor but, they can't fit him in until next week. It kind of makes me nervous since he's just getting over that infection in his infession. I know he really feels bad & he is up coughing all night long so he's not getting that much sleep. My mom thinks I should take him to the ER, but we just got the bill from his surgery & we owe over $38,567.00 right now .Since we had no medical coverage when he got sick it is taking us awhile to get help with the bills. They keep sending us bills telling us they want there money now, & he really doesn't want to go after everything he went through the last time he was in there.
I am giving him nyquil , that seems to be helping with the cough & it is helping him sleep a little.That gives me a little break while he is resting. I worry about him so much if anything happens to him I don't know what I'll do.That cancer scare really showed me how much a part of my life he is, I knew I loved him but that made me realize how much.

Had date night tonight .

Tonight we had our date night even though hubby isn't feeling well. We didn't get to go out to dinner like we wanted to, but we had a cozy dinner together here. Then we sat down & watched a little tv together, since he's not feeling well he had to lay down early. It was nice spending quality time together even if it had to be cut short.

Fake people on the web

I don't know what happened when I tried to post this last night. What I am talking about is people who act like they are your friend , then bam, they are gone. I have learned now that I can't give to much information & I watch who I can trust.
There are so many wonderful people on MHH, & it's great being able to trust everyone here. All I know is that It's great to be able to trust others again.

Took care of mom today

My sister & I. took care of mom's tree . I cleaned her whole house, changed her bedding. ect, I am so sad looking the way she is living now . Bob & I are thinking about moving in there to take care of her. My life will be different, living under her control, yet she is my mom. I don't want her to always be alone & sick.I love my mom, Yet I love BOB . The Lord saids when you take a wife give up your mother (for the man) or others before them.

Having True Friendships is great.

Having true friendships is the greatest thing in the world. People come & go in our lives but true friends are there forever. I have met different people on the web who seem like they are a friend until the truth comes out about games they are playing with my emotions.I love people & talking to them, it really hurts me when you find out that someone you have trusted in is not who they say they are.
To me a true friend is : Honest, Trust Worthy, A Good Listener, Will tell you what they REALLY think, & Always know that you are there for them.
Everyone here is so special & they are honest when they talk to each other. Thank you my new friends for showing that friendships aren't dead on the web.

Feeling Better & yes told Hubby

I am feeling a little better today. Yes I did tell B/H what my Aunt tried planning behind his back. He is really hurt that should even suggest that I lie to him & sneak out to meet the ex. I can't believe she would even suggest anything like that .
I am glad that I told him what was going on it was eating away at me.

NOT FEELING WELL

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, we are both fighting a cold. I did check out the sight but I had to lay down, was down for the count early. Bob was able to drive today since the weather was sunny & no snow, so we ran to the store & he came right home.

Having a problem here with my ex. He is in town & contacted my Aunt. Wants to meet on Monday for lunch without me telling my B/H. I told her no. she said being a christian I should forgive him & let him speak his mind. I believe I am doing the right thing. I love my B/h & don't want to hide anything from him. He would never let me go without him, & I don't want to. She wants me to keep this a secret from B/H, even thought I am not going to meet him, should I tell him ? This is something that could put a staine on our marriage.

Valentine's Day

Well today is Valentine's Day & we are having really great weather here. We were able to go for a walk together, which was nice. I got a white gold ring with diamonds in it, & a box of candy. I got hubby a teddy bear in a bikers outfit & he love chocolate covered cherries so I gave them to him. I am making a chuck roast for dinner, but will start with crab legs.

Feburary 13th, 2008

Well we went to get out gifts for each other for Valentine's Day today. Hubby got me a white gold ring with baby diamonds all over it & candy. I had to go with him since he idn't know my ring size. He picked it out, which I thought was so sweet. My Aunt took us since he can't drive yet, so we got her flowers & candy.
I hope everyone is having a great day today. We had another layer of ice all over the snow we got last night, so it was tricky traveling today.
